Hello,
When I open my index page to edit it, it takes such a pinfully long tome to do anything with it, even just pointing the curser to add text - it takes anywhere from 10 - 20 seconds before I can type anything on the page.
It seems odd as this is the only page it does this as I have other pages which are a lot bigger on the site and they are easy and quick to edit.
I'm not sure if I hit an "F" (function) key once and it set something off. There are about 5 scripts on the page and I'm not sure if this is what's doing it. It's only been recent and I've actually taken a few things off the page to see if it quickens, but it hasn't.

The reason for this posting is to see if there's something like a setting which always looks for something before editing. I've also tried to edit the index page while off-line as well as on-line, but it makes no difference.

many thanks in advance

I can only suggest that you rebuild the page - I'm not good enough to look at your code and spot a potential problem. Just cut and paste one section at a time until the problem shows up again - that will point you in the right direction.

It is very possible the problem will disappear.

You can do this in just a few minutes by cutting/pasting. Fastest way to solve the problem.

Cheers Peace

Cheers,
Managed to cut and paste and it seems to have worked - did take me a while though!!!!

Thanks again.
