paging trunk

Is there a way when a paging trunk is accessed to have it close the contacts on a paging amp to mute the music

If it's programmed as PAG, that's what it does - on the second pair.

another way is to add a relay in series with the trunk.. most page adapters (valcom) have this feature built in.

Thanks for the help guys But they are wanting more to happen than i thought and i am going to change plans for the paging system completely.
