Paging on older merlin system

Prospective customer who called in today has an older merlin system and wants to hook up a paging speaker - can i just get a paging control unit such as valcom and go right to an open CO port??

Most likely.

You can test this by using your Test Set on the Valcom and see if it works.

It probably will.

Yeah, or if you can find out which older Merlin control unit it is, there may already be a page por on it, or a feature pack that could be added to gain one. Usually cheaper than a trunk adapter.
