Using an Analog port for Paging Port:
In Manager, click on the Extension icon to display the list of extensions.
Double-click on the Extension that will be used for the paging port.
In the Extn tab, set the Equipment Classification to Paging Speaker.
Set Caller Display type to Off. Click OK. Extension icon should change.
Click on User Icon to display list of Users. In the user tab, set the Name to
Paging or similar to indicate the function. In the voicemail tab, untick Voicemail On.
Page port must have an off-hook condition, otherwise you will get a busy when calling page Extension. (You may have to use a 500 ohm to a 20k Ohm resistor across the page port.) (3 to 5 watt). I usually buy a cheap phone and go off hook and leave off hook across the page port.
Reboot system to receive off-hook condition
