I receive files on disk from customers on occasions. When I open the file to run out a copy, everything is ok, I print out the copy and looks good. I do a save as and save my work. It's when I go back to that file and need to make changes or even just run off another copy (sometimes to a different printer/imagesetter) the text reflows and breaks the words. I have checked many options of why this would happen and I have only had this happen if I receive a disk, not if I have created the file. Any suggestions on why or what could be causing this problem? Thank You

Jacquie: a difficult problem.
Fonts with the same name may be available
a) As Win TrueType
b) As Adobe Type 1
c) As Printer Resident font
Sometimes all these are different, e.g. News Gothic.
The only safe solution is:
The sender of PM files should send the font as well.
But this can be handled on your system only by ATM Deluxe.

Now the practical solution:
Use ONLY Adobe Type 1. When the sender had sent you once
the fonts, install them properly by Standard ATM.
(in principle this is a violation of rights).
Any Type 1 font consists of normal and italic, bold, narrow ..
versions additionally.

About printing (to Postscript printers):
Check the box "Transfer TrueType and Type1"
Then - hopefully - the printer doesn´t use resident fonts.

Hope this helps a little. --G.Hoffmann
