Page pac 20 with IP Office 4.0.7

Has anyone used a Page Pac 20 with IP Office. I recently change a customer over from Partner system to IPO.
They used a Page Pac in old system but I am having problem getting it to work with IP Office..
I will probably need to get a UPAM to make it work but was wondering if anyone else had it working without UPAM. I tried using analog station and and Trunk set up and neither would work.

The Partner provided a contact closure on the Black/Yellow of the connecting cord to the PagePac. You may need to just strap it together to get the audio to come across.

IPO straight into the amp input, no upam is needed.

I would think if you use a trunk port you would need talk battery of some sort for it to work or if you used an analog port you would need to isolate the analog port DC battery from the input of the amp. Other wise input of amp would burn up eventually.
I've always used an interface of some sort or another.
Just a thought.
