Hello, I am trying to add page numbers to my report but i have a subreport that continues to two or more pages and the page numbers don't get printed when the subreport has a page break. I was wondering how I could fix this problem.

P.S. I am using Crystal Reports V.7

Thanks in advance,

Where is your subreport placed? In the report footer? If you place the pagenumber in the main report page footer, it should display correctly.

If the subreport is in the report header (so that there would be no page footer in the main report), you can create a formula that is true for all records in your main report, e.g.:

{table.ID} > 0

Then insert a group on this, make it your highest order group, and place the subreport in this group instead of in the report header (suppress the report header). The page footer will now be available for the pagenumber.
