Hi
I have this customer who bought this very cheap printer. We wanted to be nice to him because of bla bla bla..
Now he blames us for every problem he can find. We sorted most of it up but one thing remains.
(This time he has even written to the Swedish CEO of Microsoft for help. Probably very effective, not)
He uses Win XP and (I guess) Office XP. The printer doesn´t print page numbers in Word documents.
They show up all right on the screen but on the printer it turns up like {PAGE} instead of the number.
(Sometimes it seems to print nothing at all where the number should have been,
but the braces are the most common result.)
I know that {PAGE} is the code for page number, but how do I change that to the number instead?
I´ve read loads of stuff about page numbering, but no really valuable tips yet.
This sounds simple, but I can´t find the right solution.
