Page layout skewed and footer does not display

Hello all,

The word document which was once in landscape view defaults as portrait view regardless of how the doc is saved any ideas on how to correct this?

Also, the footers which used to display no longer displays.

Have you checked File/Page Setup to see if Portrait is selected? Check View/Headers-Footers to see if the margins are set correctly.

Yes, all of this was checked - File/Page setup is configured as Landscape. When one saves and closes the doc it becomes Portrait. Also the footers are lost. Margins are set correctly. This is Word 97

Suggest looking for

1. New Printer driver or re-installing printer driver
2. Printer setup
3. Right Printer selected? (Generic Printer selected?)
4. Is printer even available for the computer in question?
