Page Footer being cut off?

I'm using QuickReports to print invoices with a page footer that prints the invoice total on the last page and 'Continued...' on any previous pages. The invoices are being printed out on customized forms with a specific area for the total at the bottom that I have to line my total up with.

For some reason, my total on the footer gets cut off whenever I move it below a certain level at the bottom of the page (about two inches from the actual page bottom). My page size is set to Letter and I've already tried removing the bottom margin to see if this is the problem, so I'm stumped on this. Anything else anyone can suggest?

Thanks so much.

Can you see the totals in the print preview? Did you placed a SummaryBand?

Steven

I have a summary band (for tax and subtotal). Everything looks fine in print preview.

Strange, are you using a dot matrix printer with continuous paper?

Steven

I am. I'll try taking a look at the printer settings, but I doubt that's the problem since the invoices print just fine when I use Simply Accounting (which uses the same invoice forms). I'll try one of the laserjets as well, just to see if anything's different ... if that fails I'll see if I can create a simple report from scratch with a footer.

I know that dot matrix printers can give problems, when entering in graphics mode, has to do with the line spacing.
Long ago I controlled the advance with writeln, form feed, and a line counter.
Most likely, it will print correct on a laserprinter, since windows print graphics, in contrary to a dot matrix printer that works like a type writer.
