Packet throughput on Cisco Switch

I believe this is telling you that in a 5 minute interval that the interface received 2.2 megabits/sec and transmitted 1.2 megabits/sec.
I usually set the time interval to 30 secs to give me a better perspective.
use this command on the interface level:
load-interval 30
Output will look like this:
30 second input rate 455328000 bits/sec, 84597 packets/sec
30 second output rate 499454000 bits/sec, 87853 packets/sec
