Packaging affecting RPCRT4.dll

I have written a program in VB6 and packaged it using Pdcmdln.exe and Windows installer. The program installs corerectly however it runs OK on 2 computers (1 Windows 98 and 1 Windows XP) but crashes on other with message " The program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down". Details indicate a problem affecting RPCRT4.dll.
Tried replacing the .dll but it does not help (copying from PC which runs the program OK). Any suggestions?Regards Henry
