Package & Deployment Wizard Cannot Copy File Error

I cannot copy a particular .cab file from a package/deployment that I have made with VB 6. I deploy the program onto 8 disks but one of them gives me an error when I copy it to the user's computer.

Error Copying File

Cannot Copy Freigh5 : The system cannot read from the specified device.

Freigh5.cab is the only file on the disk. The rest of disks don't have any problems.

I downloaded SP5 on the compiler computer.
As wells as mdac_typ.exe (2.5) and DCOM98.exe on the user computer.

seems to me that the particular disk may be damaged.
have you run scandisk (incl. surface check) on the disk?
