Hi

I have a customer that's reported they are not getting any abandoned calls showing in the pabx soft reports
for incoming hunt group calls. They have an IP Office 500 7.0 ( 36 ) using ISDN 2 lines and pabx soft version 8.
If I call individual extns via their ddi number and hang up after several seconds this shows as an abandoned
call ok. Just wondered if anyone else had came across this issue with pabxsoft call reporting on an ip office.
The SMDR is sent over ip on tcp port.

cheers

M

It's not likely, the reason being is that Xima Chronicall is the go to service for call accounting on the IP Office.

Check your SMDR raw data
Lost incoming Call
In this record, the Call duration is zero and the Continuation field is 0, indicating that the call was never connected. The Ring Time shows that it rang for 9 seconds before ending.

If there's no data for hunt group calls then there's no data. If there is data and it's not being reported, call PABXSoft and log a ticket.

Note:
Call Billing and Logging on IPO
A call becomes connected when the first announcement is played to it. That connected state is signaled to the call provider who may start billing at that point. The call will also be recorded as answered within the SMDR output once the first announcement is played.
Try a sequential hunt group with missed calls.

It must be something in the reporting software, what brand is that software?
Do you have a link to the menufacturer web page?

Good software that doesn't require licensing on a per agent basis.

IP Office---> SMDR--> PABXSoft Call Collector running on 'server'---> PABXSoft Reporting Software on 'server'.

Their support was quite all right as of 7 years ago on NEC PABXs

I have read their installation and configuration manual, there was basically nothing to read only "install as administrator" which is a basic rule in installing software.
There is a document how to use with IP Office and they are reffering to "CCC Delta Server" which is not working anymore.
Since the Delta Server being dropped by Avaya there are some changes put through in respect to SMDR output, maybe the software can't handle these changes.

Thanks for the replies appreciated. Will get some examples of smdr raw data tomorrow and speak to pabxsoft.
I setup on test switch and iam getting abandoned calls showing ok so looks specific to this site..
