P3 and 200/266Mhz bus

I read, about a month ago, that intel is making a new chipsets for the p3 which can support 200/266Mhz bus speeds and also it should support DDR ram. The only question is, when??? AMD already has there product line out there, so why the hell does it take intel so long to make there's? I do like Intel, and supporting there products but I soon may hop on the AMD wagon if Intel doesn't get things in motion.

Just my thoughts for the day
(and no the p4 doesn't appeal to me)

Well, maybe AMD made their chips hard to reverse-engineer, so Intel is taking awhile to get at them...
