I am not real familiar with creating cross tab report.
Below is a what I want to write:

2000 2001 2002 2003 2004
Jan 12 19 11 15 12
Feb 26 25 25 27 17
MAr 43 41 34 38 23
Apr 52 69 44 49
May 69 90 58 65
Jun 86 102 67 70
Jul 101 116 90 81
Aug 109 130 101 94
Sep 128 142 114 104
Oct 141 153 127 109
Nov 154 157 133 114
Dec 157 165 140 120

The numbers are a counting of the Authorization Date Field. They accumulate a running total by month. My question is how can I manually put the headings in. I don't want to use a field name for heading. I can't seem to find how to get the headings in, row & column.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

You can open up the report in Preview mode then add text objects on top on your headings. Now change the background to black and the font to be white or any other color which is visible.

There might be easier and more logical ways of doing this. I have used this in the past and it seems to work fine for me.

Hope this helps!

Is this a manual crosstab? If so, you should rename your column formulas to {@2000}, {@2001}, etc., and they will appear as you wish. Otherwise, if you inserted a crosstab and are using the datefield to create the column by grouping on years, the year should appear correctly as is.

The rows should be based on a datefield, and therefore, you can right click on the field->format field->date->customize->date->month format = MARCH->day format ->None->year format->None.
