As i say in the title i have got my OWA working fine internally in the network with clients able to use outlook 2003 or OWA, i use ssl,CA & https setup as stated in TT & exchange.org. whilst i await my firewall ports to be opened by my GRID i whish to know what recommendations you all suggest for connection from the outside world to my OWA i should use. The last part of my setup o/c of access to OWA is i wish my clients to be able to access work and send work from home to work including printing to the photo copier. suggestions welcome.. i have no money to spend on third party software by the way

many thanks in adavance

If your printers are IP printers you could use NAT to redirect but be ready for outside people suddenly printing to your printers. Instead you should set your users up with a VPN connection.

You might also want to configure Outlook over HTTP so your users could use full Outlook instead of OWA.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

Check out my scripting solutions at

so what your are saying if i vpn in i can use all of my outlook from their laptops ?
if so can i use OWA as a back up from a airport/coffee shop say?

should i still use ssl & ca for verification when they login? from outside the firewall which would be the best method??

thanks
