Ive configured my OWA as per MS instructions (admin manual How to Simplify OWA login section) so that I shouldn't need the /owa when entering the url for OWA.

This URL works:
This causes a server username/pw log in popup to appear:

I have forms based auth turned on for the OWA settings in the Exchange Management Console. Is there some other FBA I need to set? Use SSL is set on all the IIS web sites.

What i've ended up doing is just putting a simple redirect on. So the default page for will do a redirect using IIS to the /owa directory and take it from there.

Regarding, the popup for authentication - this will be because anonymous access isn't enabled, thus just to read the logon page the user will need to authenitcate to the system first of all. This isn't ideal if you are using Forms authentication so I recommend enabling anonymous access in the website properties.

Cheers,

Steve.

Yep, you need to enable anonymous access in IIS for the site. (In the properties, directory security tab - first button on the tab. In the new window tick the the first check box)

Good Luck!
