OWA Redirect to internal DNS Address

Hi all, I have two Exchange 2000 servers in the same Organization that are accessible from the Internet using Outlook Web Access. They both have their own internet address and both work fine when connecting to their sites over the Internet. However, I have one issue which I can't find any info on...

When connecting to one OWA server through the Internet and logging in to an account that exists on the second Exchange server, OWA attempts to redirect me to the OWA on the the other server that my account exists on. This is exactly what I want it to do, but it is redirecting me to the internal DNS address rather than the external and therefore does not work from the Internet.

For example, I have two servers in an Active Directory domain like this:

mailserver1.int.mydomain.com
mailserver2.int.mydomain.com

I can access each of these externally by their legal Internet names of:

mailserver1.mydomain.com
mailserver2.mydomain.com

When I login to mailserver1 via OWA with an account that exists on mailserver2, then mailserver1 attempts to redirect me to mailserver2.int.mydomain.com rather than mailserver2.mydomain.com.

I know I can put in the subdomains on the Internet so this will work, but I'd just like to forward it to it's external internet domain rather than the internal.

Is this possible, has anyone run into this?

Thanks in advance...
