I am about to try and set up a test server for OWA and wondered what i actually need to get it up and running, I have an SBS2000 server running sp3, adsl with static public ip, and watchgaurd soho firewall. Do i need to have a domain name registered ie mydomain.co.uk or can i connect to my public ip address using also what ports do i need to open in my firewall and the isa server. Any help would be much appreciated because i need to get this up and running at our site within the next few months.

Thanks Guys

I believe the only port you need to open is port 80 (web). I have a 3Com firewall same setup & all I needed to open was http port 80 traffic to the server.

Also you don't need a domain name, you can use the ip address/exchange. I did however go ahead & get a domain name & set it up as which directs them right into OWA. Good for employees who can't remember an IP address or don't even know what that is. ;)

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks goalie35 gonna give it a try next week.
