OWA hangs while loading the Inbox view

When accessing one of my exchange servers I am getting hung loading the inbox. This happens both via the internet and a front end server or locally over the lan.

I installed the post sp3 rollup as per q330220 but that didn't solve the solution.

Any tips would be apprieciated.

Have you made any recent changes or installed any apps to your exchange backend or frontend server.

I have seen this problem before after installing automatic update server which ran IIS lockdown and rewrote the urlscan file.

The post sp3 rollup was applied to all of the servers in the org to correct a link state/mail routing issue. No other changes were made prior to notificaton of the problem.
