OWA Global Address List no showing anyone

Hello all,

I'm running Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 Standard edition box.
When I access mail from the web I am unable to see any users in the
address list. When I click on "TO", nothing shows. Is this by
default? Do I need to set something? Any ideas? Thanks. -pete

I am experiencing the same issue described here, with one caveat...

...when I access the Exchange 2003 server via Outlook 2003 the global address list shows as expected.

Any ideas?

I am planning to deploy this weekend, so any help is desperatley appreciated.

I spoke with one of my developers on this issue, and he seemed to think that this was by design. It seems that muliple queries against the GAL would cause a performance hit on the Exchange Server, so they make you look for each individual member. I suppose this would make sense, but is a flaw nonetheless.

Hopefully a service pack will address the issue someday.

Does this sound correct?
