We just enabled OWA for outside email access. The URL is supposed to be When you access that page to get a site under construction. If you add a /owa to the end of the URL, you get the login page. What do we have to change so you don't have to add the /owa?

Thanks,

Open up IIS manager on your email server
Go to properties of the default web site
Go to Home DIrectory tab
select " a redirection to a url"
redirect to " /exchange"
select "a directory beloew url entered"

restart IIS web services

That should do it.

When I went to try this, it reroutes everything to Exchange. Will this mess up OAB or anything else. Just a little gunshy.

I don't run OAB, but it's a pretty straight forward change. If it doesn't work to your liking then it's easy to change it back.

If you want you can just find a quick asp page to reroute to the /owa extension you are looking for. Set this as your default page (replacing the page that gives you the under construction warning)

I won't break OAB, you'd need to redirect to /owa not /exchange but a zero second redirector in an htm page would be a lot better - I covered it in Exchange 2003 many times including the entire text of the htm file.
