I have all my contacts & emails currently in MSOutlook 2000 and I now have to use Outlook Web Access for next 3 months.
There must be a way of synchronising the two.
I dont have the POP3 or IMAP settings to link into OWA server and there are no import facilities in the OWA.
I tried setting OWA as shortcut within Outlook2000 but this still doesnt allow drag & drop.
Surely there must be a way of interfacing the 2.

Did you google "Outlook Web Access"? There are tons of links there. The answer to your question might be among them.

what messaging service do you use to get your emails in outlook? is it exchange server? if so, you should still be able to see those in OWA (it should be based on same server)- in the shortcut links on the left. if the info is not appearing there when clicking links, either:
1) you have your email delivery location set to a personal folders file (PST). If thats the case, you can recopy all the items back up to the exchange server by opening the "tree view" of your information stores and manually copy the contents of the inbox/contacts from the personal folders tree to the exchange inbox tree.
2) you are using an internet or POP account, you would have to export all information to a personal folders file, then run outlook2000 under a different profile connected to the exchange server, and open the pst to manually copy the contacts to the server as in step #1 above.

bottom line, once the info is on exchange server, OWA will show you whats also on the regular outlook. its 2 different views of the exact same information.
