I just became the proud owner of a mess left behind by the mail administrator and my problem is this: I need to setup three frontend servers running OWA. That I can do. I have the Exchange servers up and running with the new web servers. My problem is, I have no idea how to place the frontend servers in what they are calling a DMZ. Since we only have ONE Firewall, how can we secure the OWA servers. Obviously I am not at all familiar with firewall security in depth, but I can follow along. Basically, we have a Nokia IP330 firewall, PDC, BDC, 2 Exchange servers and three OWA frontend servers. I have no problem with the load balancing, but if anyone could show me with a diagram of what the setup should look like and a brief description of firewall rules associated with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
