overwritting contacts when they are updated

I export updates for contacts from an access database.  How can I overwrite contacts held in outlook that have been update.  At the moment the contact duplicate themselves.

When importing into Outlook 2000, you have 3 options: 1.Replace duplicates with items imported,<br>2.Allow duplicates to be created, and<br>3.Do not import duplicates
