Overwritten Excel File - Any Way Of Restoring?

Hi

Is there any way to recover a previous version of a Excel file, I have saved a blank spreadsheet over a existing one - needless to say this file was not backed up.

If you are on a network and your network admin is doing their job properly, you should be able to request a copy from the last time they did a backup of the network (ie the night before). Other than that, I'm afraid you are well and truly stuck
