oversized frame problem

from time to time my server crashes with

eth0: Oversized Ethernet frame status a25e7...

looks like somethin like a frame buffer overflow
does anybody has a clue, why this problem
occures?

would be very glad for any hint

Hi,

Unless it really is a giant frame, then its probably just a buggy ethernet driver. There have been quite a few reports with such issues for drivers such as the rtl8139. What card is that ?
