Hey guys, I need some help. I've got an opt 11c that I need to get overpaging functional on. I've got a Bogen 24V ps and horn to test with before we purchase all of our equipment.

My Nortel experience is limited to MACs for the most part, but I can follow instructions easily and have documentation, but need a push in the right direction.

The ps calls for tip and ring loop start. I have an empty trunk port to use. I've searched the forums and thought I should setup a route, and a PAG trunk. So I've done that and can dial the ACOD and get dead air, but nothing over the horn. WHen the horn is hooked into the trunk, it's muted, like I believe it should be. WHen i pull the connection, there is static (again, like I would think it should work), but I honestly don't know what I'm doing.

Any words of wisdom? I can post the rdb and trunk if that would help, but I think I'm just on the wrong track somehow.

From trunk port to Bogan amp is just an analog signal - best way to test to determine connections to Bogen is connect your toner to Bogen ports. Once you get it right you will hear your toner over speaker.

Then connect your pag trunk port.

Here is how my trunk and route is built, just so you can compare to ensure it is built correctly.

Thanks guys! I've almost got it now. I have a functional paging port that can be dialed from phones with a tgar of 0. Two more things and I promise I'll leave you guys alone for a while.

1. How can I edit a route to change the ACOD? I can't find anything on this on the web or here:(.
2. Editing it would allow me to alter the TARG as well.

I'm still looking, but I haven't found it yet.

Thanks again!

Perfect Reusser. I found ld16, but didn't know the x remove piece. Thanks!

Drat! One final glitch and this is setup.

When the console is in day mode, the operator can transfer me to the correct extension. When the console is in night mode it goes to an automated menu (callpilot handles that I think), but you aren't allowed to dial the extension. Any ideas?

Here is what is happening. We get our standard night menu, I dial the ACOD and get one ring and then "Your connection cannot be completed at this time.

Probaly needs to be added to restriction / permission list in call pilot
