Hello eveyone,
I'm Trying to overclock my mobo using a P4 2.53GHz 533FSB.
512MB Kingston PC2700 and a Gainward GeForce4 Ti4200 8x AGP video card. I'm looking for some good solid numbers that will run stable using Windows XP Home Edition.I don't plan on water cooling the cpu.I have a Vantek heatsink and Y.S. fan attached to the cpu.Plenty of incoming and out going fans to cool off the case too, running at 25C.The book that came with the Mobo isn't much help, that's why I'm relying on some expertise from this forum. Thanks

At the speeds that current processors are running,
Overclocking will give you extremly little if any gain.
WHY BOTHER.......
With the little gain it might get, you would never be able to tell.

No problem. Are you familiar with your bios? Basically you want to increase your FSB etc etc. It's kinda hard going into a whole overclock scenerio here. Make sure you mem is setup properly in the bios (correct CAS settings) for starters.
