Overall Vertias 10D help

Okay so i'm attaching my SS of Vertias, my problem is that It runs my backup job.. but it runs a copy of the same job, 5-10 hours later and says that the job was missed. Where do I go to view this and/or remove it?

Also, running SQL 2005 (not sp1 yet) with database mirroring, (dont want to dump the backups of the database to .bak). Veritas will get the error 'One or more SQL database consistancy checks have failed' But it will backup the first servers databases in their entirety.

Any help with the SQL error (in just getting it to recognize the databases as mirrors and not consider them errors), and the multiple backups error is appreciated. Here is the link to the image.

Database mirroring is not supported by Veritas (Backing up the mirror). If you backed up the live sql there is no need.


On the Policy Tab edit the policy then the backup template. Under the schedule you should find something on why the job is running so much

is there a way i can set veritas to ignore the sql error and make it an exception? it wont spit out a tape automatically every morning for the bank deposit person to grab if the job doesnt complete successfully.
