Anyone know if you can configure the firewall without an outside interface?

I noticed that the SDM util doesn't allow you to start a rule base without defining an outside interface/DMZ.

Can this / should this be done via CLI ?

Do you set your rulebase before defining your gateway?

NO, most FW's need a gateway or target definded to implement the rule base against.
