I'm looking into how to setup FAC-less dialing for a single location on a multi-location CM.

Currently there's a FAC for ARS (9), dialing to other CMs that are setup are done through the UDP, what would be the next step to get rid of the 9 for dial out? Without breaking other locations.

I see the option in the system-param cust "ARS/AAR Dialing without FAC", what will be the impact for other locations? And what needs to change on the existing ARS / AAR / UDP for this to function ?

You dont need ars/aar dialing without FAC. just put whatever you have in ARS into UDP and send to ARS. No difference that what you already have setup for dialing internal.

I assume it's an all or nothing for this?

We're looking at doing this for a single location, but how I understand the UDP it's for everyone

I can make a location based dial plan ana, but will still use the general UDP.

UDP is for all but you can still have ARS dialing via a FAC. You can also use 'cha dialplan analysis loc X' and only send what you want to UDP based on location.

you can use calltype we use it for inter-dialing between a couple of sites that is location based, so we use it like user dials 4 digit number on another site, Calltype adds prefix and sends it to ARS
