Hi there,

OL2003SP1 running on XPSP2, connected to EX2003 server.

For OL2003 to print an email, it print in whole. However in OE6 I can highlight a portion & print only that portion.

Wondering in OL2003 can do the same? Now I copy & paste the portion to word & print from there, but user feel it is troublesome to do so & they want the same as in OE6.

Many thanks!

Hi zacca,
Instead of using the print button on the toolbar, after highlighting the portion you want to print, use the menu:

File > Print (or you can press CTRL-P)

and choose 'Selection', then press Print.

thx tony, but in my ol2003, file>print, there is no 'selection' available, it only has 'print style', any idea?

many thx!

zacca,
It seems Outlook will allow you to print a selection when the e-mail is in HTML format, which is what I tried, but will only let you apply a style (and then print the whole document) if the format is plain text. I haven't found a work-around to solve this though, I'm afraid (except what you are already doing).[sad]
