Outlook xpress lockup

When ever I have more than one message in my sent folder in outlook express I get an hour glass that goes on forever.

I can go to find, brouse to sent items, type in the username, deleate all, Then I can send one e-mail to anyone and I can access the sent items folder. But as soon as I send two,,,,,,, Pooff, thats it it locks up again.

Is it possable to reenstall outlook express.
