I would like to remove some of the entries in the list of recently opened folders found under File|Open.

I have not been able to find a way to remove any or all of them

I think it is under:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\

find your profile name, and looking for a key named 0a0...0046 (normally the first one), it is in there.

There is a key 101e0390 you have to delete. Hope this can get you started, but do a search on the key name first as I can not remember the exact string.
