Outlook XP Drops Attachtments, Some Mail Not Rec'd

We are running on Win 2000 Pro OS, with Microsoft XP office suite, utilizing the Microsoft Outlook application on a POP 3 server. One machine in particular has given me some difficulty with email. It started with dropping the attachtments coming in from one person. This person happens to be using Eurdora Mail Systems, they are able to send the mail with attachtment to an internet mail account, but Outlook drops the same mail's attachtment when it is sent to us. Now, yesterday the same sender's mail did not make it through at all, we were having some server issues yesterday, and I believe that would be the cause for the mail not coming through. As for the attachtments I am at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the cause might be?

Have a look in Outlook Options/Security , to see if there is something like this .

Do not allow attachments to be saved or
opened that could potentially be a virus.
