I'm stuck with an issue between contacts and the address book. The 'contacts' list all the people that are able to be emails but the address book is empty. when I look into the address book, it shows that there are two contact lists with the exact same name, the first one is enpty and the second is the same as what is displayed within outlook. I can default the right one to look at first and can see it when I add a name now to the email, but how do I get rid of this other instance of Contacts, its affecting the way outlook does things and prevents you adding more names to that contact list. I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of it. Please, I realy need to resolve this without loosing the contacts.

Make sure your contacts folder is set to be used as an Outlook address book. What do you have listed in Tools, Services?

What you seem to be describing can sometimes be caused by a corrupt Outlook profile. Try creating a new Outlook profile and point it to the same .pst file to see if the problem is resolved.
