I have a client trying to connect to his Outlook Web Access via his new Direcway satellite system. This system is top of the line and the speeds are very good in satellite terms.
The problem starts when he connects to the server it prompts him for his password and every time he clicks the OK button the login screen comes back. You can however connect to their FTP server through a secure login just fine.
You can take this same laptop and disable his Ethernet connection and Dial in to a modem and connect to the same Exchange 2003 server just fine.
I'm guessing since the satellite hook up is seeing the Exchange server long enough to ask for a password but not finish the authentication process I have some kind latency problem. Is their a setting of some sort in Exchange I can modify to allow a longer TTL or something?
The equipment invovled is an new Laptop running XP talking to the satellite via a Linksys Wireless router without any special settings programed. And this laptop has made connection back to this same server from as far away as Denmark (to Louisiana).
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
