Hi all,

I posted this on the Email Issues forum, but I'm posting it here because it may be a vba issue.

Version: Outlook 2000 SR1 9.0.0.3821

Settings: Configured for POP Internet Mail

Problem: Can send & receive emails fine, but when cc field is used no one in the cc field ever receives messages. Would like to avoid reinstalling as it runs on a Citrix server everyone uses 24/7.

Anyone know why my CC button doesn't work?

It may b a set up issue for the internet mail server, that it doesn't permit CC at all, or doesn't permit a number of CC addresses - some attempt at stopping spam

You could try pointing it at a different server, and see if that works

Thanks for replying to my post.

Our infrastructure hasn't changed, and we have one internal smtp server. I'm the only one who manages our backend servers and infrastructure. It's most likely just M$ and maybe some ocx/vba problem. I will probably just re-install Office on our Citrix server, but it doesn't hurt to double check our smtp server settings again just in case it bumped itself out of whack or something....

could you guys tell me via scripting how to send and email and cc someone from the command line?

Maybe I can test Outlook this way as it doesn't appear to be a problem outside of the Outlook install on the Citrix server.

All of our other in-house users use the same internal smtp server with no problems, so I know it's not some weird problem with smtp, or firewalls, etc.
