I've received emails from people where in place of the list of recipients it shows only the words "Undisclosed-Recipient". I checked the FAQ and Forums on this site, as well as the Help file in Outlook and can not find any info on how to do this.
Any ideas?

To do this when sending, put all your recipients in the BCC: field and leave the To: field blank. When received, the message will appear to 'undisclosed recipients'.

You use the BCC box for the real recipients - the undisclosed recipints address is a dummy.

BCC means Blind carbon copy - the real recipients can't see who the message went to.

In outlook, when you compose a message, click on the 'to' button, and you'll see three boxes for addresses; 'to' 'cc' and 'bcc'. Put a dummy address in the 'to' box, and the actual ones yo want to send it to in the 'bcc' box. Leave the 'cc' box empty.

This is probably done by the sender setting up a contact called "undisclosed recipients" with their own email address then sending the mail to that contact and by BCC to the intended recipients. That way no-one knows who else has received the mail.

Thanks for all the quick responses.
