Outlook syncronisation - can it be automated

Hi

I want to launch Outlook 2000 from a login script with a switch that starts the offline mail syncronisation process. Is this possible without manually launching outlook?? eg Start outlook.exe with some switches from a login script?

I know it can be setup to run on Outlook Startup and Shutdown. I want to kick it off without manually starting the app

Has anyone done this?
