Outlook starts only after opening the mailbox on the server

Hello!
I'm using exchange server 2000 and outlook xp/2000. I have the following problem: Outlook starts only after I've opend the mailbox and the public folders in the exchange system manager on the server. Opening the mailbox and the public folders take about 20secs. After I've opend them, outlook starts immediately on the client.

Any ideas?
