We are using Citrix MetaFrame XPe FR3 on Win2k Server with SP3, Dual PIII-1Ghz, 2GB RAM.
We are experiencing intermittent slowness in Outlook 2000 (Exchange 2000 on the back end) where a simple one line email message will take up to a minute to open (we are seeing this on our 10MB LAN). We have 3 servers in a farm and have approx 60 users (total). The problem is intermittent in that only one server at a time in the farm is impacted - one minute Server1 is slow, the next Server3, etc...
Any ideas/suggestions are welcomed.

Are you implementing any folder redirection policies...maybe for the Application Data folder? We had this problem on our 9 server farm. We were redirecting the application data folder away from the profile into a users data folder. Once we moved it back to the profile (docs and settings), the slowdowns stopped.

Make sure you do not have the Instant Messaging enabled in Outlook under the 'Other Tab'.
