Dear all,

Systems: Server/Exchange 2003 with XP with Office 2003.

A particualr user has a Hot Spot card and thus they need all the security fixes that SP2 has - our base bulid is still SP1 - and as a result Outlook seems to have a far decreased tolerance of large mailboxes.

Outlook runs fine even on a 3Gb mailbox with SP1 with no problems however it gradually slows down to a crawl and then hangs on even a much smaller mailbox of 1Gb. At first it is fine - this is because the OST file is still small as it has only just started downloading the mailbox.

I realise even 1Gb is a large mailbox but it worked fine without SP2 installed.

I have already tried a few things and I have determined it is not the machine, profile nor is it the T-Mobile Hotspot/WLAN/Mobile card.

Any help will be much appreciated,

Benjamin
