Some users in the network are being prompted to supply their Network Authentication when they open Outlook. I've checked the settings on them and they are all set to NT Password Authentication.
XP Clients with Outlook 2K
Win 2K SP4 Exchange 2000 SP3
Win 2K Domain

When they enter their credentials they can login.

seen this before i changed the password for the user and it fixed it god knows why??

check outlook, there is option to promo for password everytime you run outlook. by default, it's disabled, but for some crazy reason, you are ghostly enabled. lol.

are you sure it was a DNS issue and not the password expiring? The password expiring is usually the issue in these cases.

most people don't know, but if you run the following from the command line, it will show you the day the password was created and is set to expire. The day and minute actually:

START + RUN + CMD + Click on OK

net user %username% /domain

You will get a few fields in the output like so:

Password last set 5/11/2005 8:39 AM
Password expires 6/10/2005 8:39 AM
Password changeable 5/18/2005 8:39 AM
Password required Yes
User may change password Yes

I' pretty sure. The accounts in question are set never to expire.
Side Note: net user only list local machine user accounts for me, and the line you gave me doesn't do anything either.
