This past weekend, I set up Outlook to share netfolders with my wife's computer in her upstairs office. Now, whenever I receive a piece of mail, I receive two copies on my machine downstairs. I've checked and I don't have the SMTP accounts doubled on either machine. Any ideas what I have done to cause my system to receive two copies?

Thanx!

Knock and the door will be opened to you; Seek and you will find; Ask and it will be given to you! [peace]

(1) Do you have any duplicate rules? If you create 2 rules Outlook/Express will create 2 copies of the message.

(2) Watch your CPU usage when inbound mail comes in. If it sits on 100% too long, the sending SMTP server will time out and send it again, although it has already delivered the first message.

If you are using Outlook 2000 and neither of the above apply, see
