Hi

I have a macro embedded into Outlook 2000. It gets triggered when a user exit Outlook and that works fine. However if a user shuts down Windows, without closing Outlook first, Outlook shuts down without running the macro. Is there a work around for this?

Thanks

You could always (using API calls) detect the shutdown, stop it, run your macro and then re-issue the shutdown command. Seems like incredible overkill to me though![wink].

Seriously though, is there no other way/event you can code your macro in to avoid this happening? It's always easier to change your own stuff than inherant windows behaviour [smile]

the code has to be in quit event

Ah, that does kind of limit your options in this scenario unfortunately [sad]
