Hello Tek Tippers, I have what may be an old problem with an easy issue to resolve but im in need of help to resolve it.
After much fun and games I have managed to get Isa server 2004 up and running via a clean install.
I have 3 admin machines on my network. These are
Domain Controller
Isa server and
admin access machine.
All have administrator access to the domain.
My problem is that since i have installed isa my outlook is not working.
There is no excahnce on this network and the email address is connecting to an external pop and SMTP address.
It worked until i had to make the changes to the main server and adjust the tcp/ip settings.
With the new settings i can access the net without problems, however i can not access the pop3 server.
Within Isa i have set up a firewall protocol giving full outward access to all networks from the 3 computers i want to use outlook on but still nothing. It just keeps telling me there was a problem connecting to pop3 server.
I also have surfcontrol on my network, but i have set the administrator log in to have full access to the net.
Can anyone shed any light on to this for me please.
Craig
