I'm trying to dounload my e-mail via my Nokia in Outlook 2000, My question is, is there a way that i can just down load the message header only if i'm connected via my mobile, and then pick and chose which one download fully by right clicking on the header. i can only download in full, as you know using a mobile is very slow. once i've figured this out i'll activate my GPRS feature on the Nokia.

Any ideas...?

Hi Chris,
Dont mean to sound like Im passing this on but the best thing to do is to check with your mobile operator. If you dial up to their ISP they should be able to "adjust" your settings such that the subject is retrieved first.
Also they can check your GPRS settings are enabled properly for GPRS transfers. All networks were I live have GPRS transfers limited to 40K per second due to limitations on the network which isnt that slow(4.2 Times faster than CSD(normal) Mobile call transfers).Eventually the max speed will be increased.

Thanks for the tip David, I've spoken to Vodaphone, they are as much use as chocolate teapot...

I've done some digging and it's possible to download headers only with Outlook XP... but i have Outlook 2000,

GPRS isn't a problem, but you get charged for down load, £1.00 per MB plus VAT...! so i need to sort this headers thing, once sorted i can just download all my headers, about 20-30 for about £0.04p, then i can right click on the one i want to download in full...

Any ideas how to set this in Outlook 2000

Regards,

Chris.
